Nostalgic moments to look back on!

Stacey tagged me. It sounds fun so please play along if you want to. I'm excited to hear the memories that you all have of me.

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments. If you want to leave a memory about John, that's fine too!

("It's all about the memories, man"; Can't hardly wait)

If you want to be completely honest

Here’s to my wife. She is my cook, my maid, my housekeeper. She manages to cook, clean, do laundry, pick up the house, take care of the kids, and do a bunch of other stuff everyday, while I can barely take care of the kids for an hour while she runs to the store. How do you do it? Roni is an amazing woman. I remember when her Dad interrogated me before we got married; he said “Roni is a special girl”. I know what he was talking about. I couldn’t ask for a more perfect person to spend eternity with. Now I could go on and on about all the stuff she does for me and my kids but that would take to long and I know how annoying it is to read an enormous blog so let me end with, I love you Roni.

Love, Me

P.S. Who else will still love you after you drop your baby?

Independence Day

Stacey and her family invited me and the boys to the annual El Paso parade. We had a great time. Stacey made some cute cupcakes and we were able to cool off afterwards inside her dad’s office, which was located on the parade route.
Only in El Paso!!!
Next, we had a pool party at my parent’s house and a family BBQ to follow. We had to watch fireworks on TV because of the
“no fireworks inside city limits law”.
Next year we need to be in Idaho Falls for their show.

Airing out my dirty laundry

My best bud Stacey, decided to tag me with the worst tag ever. You have to take pictures of your toilet, sink, laundry room, fridge, closet, favorite shoes, favorite room, and your kids. And you can not cheat, just get up and begin taking pictures. So for me, it is the worst tag ever because my house is never as clean as I would like it to be. If you would have told me my house would look the way it does today back when I was in high school, I would have never of believed you. So much for pretending to be clean all the time.

Here is my bathroom, Lukes bathroom is the type of toilet you would want to hover on,
so no photo there.
Breakfast dishes, not to bad. But I cheated a little.Laundry Day, all clean just need to get around to folding.Always well stocked with frozen pizza for Luke, and everything else for Noah.My SideJohn's side, with some of my dresses. So nice of him to share. Burlington purchase a few years ago, wear them every Sunday and date night.
(Nice sexy baby legs not included) Ashley's new room. Like how my mom and I made the curtains better fitting for Ash.
Ribbons and bows, so cute!Dad and Lukey playing with his geo tracks. Noah, in a bad mood from not getting enough sleep.
Watching Stuart Little, helping to keep me sane.
Doesn't get any better than that. I love her!

I tag, all my cousins, and sister-in-laws.

6 Blissful years of Blessed Bonding

It’s hard to believe that John and I have made it though six years of marriage. I mean really, most bets were that we would never make it past three. Kidding Kidding. I love my Johnny, and so lucky to be with my Mr. Right. Honestly, it really is hard to believe that it has been six years, because it has felt like so much longer than that. I can’t even remember what life was like without Juanita! I came across a card from my bridal shower, it was from my older sister, in it she said “John fits into the family like a puzzle piece that was lost and now found!” Emily, you coudn’t have been more accurate. He has kept me laughing the entire time. When we were dating, John once asked me “Do you really want to wake up to this (pointing to his face) every morning for the rest of your life.” My reply, “No, for eternity!” And lucky for me, I get to. Here are some reasons why I am the luckiest girl alive….. He makes me eggs for breakfast on his day off, he would rather spend time with me and the kids than anything else in the world, he is always trying to give me time off from work (not that I don’t love my job/kids), he understands that when my family comes into town he might get a little ignored hahaha, he is a good gift giver, he is patient with me even when I am not so nice, he never forgets trash night, he makes all phone calls for me, he has an old man wheeze when he laughs, he will read a girly/vampire/love story book just because I begged him to, he gets giddy at Christmas time, he dips his cookies in milk (so cute, such a youngster inside), he has a great sense of smell (he has to sniff everything), he still looks at me like I’m the most beautiful woman on earth (keep in mind this is even when I haven’t shower in two days, and I’m cover in baby food spit up), he is the picture perfect father. When I was growing up, my mom used to tell me that I was “practically perfect in every way”, well I think I have married my match, John, you are “practically perfect in every way”, and I love you.

Happy Anniversary!

P.S.I am eternally grateful to know that we can be together forever. I am even more grateful that you did not have to sink your vampire teeth into my neck and suck out all of my blood to make it happen! haha love ya
